Whitley County Water District has received notice from PSC that disconnection for non-payment of water bills may resume on October 21, 2020. While disconnects for non-payment have not been done in several months, nor have any late fees been assessed in hopes of easing any financial burden caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it has always been the responsibility of the account holder to make every effort to keep your water bill payment up to date as much as possible.
If you are unable to pay the balance in full by October 20, 2020, we encourage you to come to our office and discuss a payment plan option. Once you have signed a payment plan you will be responsible for making sure your payment is made as outlined in the payment agreement. If you fail to comply with the signed agreement, your account will be subject for disconnection.
If you choose NOT to sign a payment agreement, your service will be subject for disconnect.
Please contact our office with any questions.
